I was born in Kariokor and raised in Ngara, right here in the heart of Starehe. Like many families in our constituency, I grew up understanding the value of hard work, resilience, and community.
The streets of Starehe shaped my character and taught me that leadership begins by serving others.

My journey into public service has never been about titles, it has always been about people.
In 2007, I offered myself for leadership but was not elected. That experience taught me humility, patience, and the importance of listening. Rather than walking away, I remained among the people, learning from every challenge and every opportunity to serve.
In 2013, the people of Ngara entrusted me with the responsibility of serving as their Member of the County Assembly. Since then, I have dedicated myself to championing better services, accountability, improved infrastructure, education support through bursaries, environmental cleanliness, youth empowerment, and stronger community engagement.
Beyond Ngara, I have had the privilege of serving as Secretary General of the County Assemblies Forum, where I have worked with leaders across Kenya to strengthen devolution, promote accountable governance, and advocate for policies that improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
Throughout my leadership journey, one principle has remained constant: leadership is about being accessible. I believe every resident deserves a leader who listens, responds, and stands with them, not only during elections but every day.
